Have you ever considered that our short time on this earth is our own personal short story. To gain the fullness of this story that , if we are blessed, will be the 70 years promised to us by the Lord. If we follow the life script that God has laid out for use in his word, those years will be filled with all the promises of the scriptures.

Too often we hear the word, but have no idea of how to apply it in any practical application in our lives. Did you know that the Bible is psychology, sociology, history, banking, medicine,dietary,mathematics, and much more?

Well the Lord has allowed us to see another year. For many, 2008,was a very bleak and upsetting year. We saw a division among Christians as it relates to culture and politics. One political party claimed Christianity, and view the other party as lost sinners.

In 2008 the Lord uncovered all the greed, hypocrisy, and all the idols that we clutched onto as our security blankets. He uncovered dishonest politicians, bankers, and such! He is just reminding us that we are to put all our trust and faith in His Word!

Let us start the year off in prayer for our country, our new president, and our enemies. It is so important that we be not just intellectual Christians but practicing Christians. We need to pray, confess our sins, change our behaviors so that God can heal our land.
